The application is fully self-contained, with most dependencies bundled.

Download & Installation

Download the ZIP package for your platform (Windows or Linux).

• Includes launcher (~50MB) and full AI engine
• Open the launcher and wait for installation to complete

Note: Installation may take time depending on your system.

Important Notes

• The project is in active development (Updates are released regularly and may vary in frequency)
• Installer and UI are experimental
• UI may glitch if downloads are interrupted - no restart required
• You can check model folders manually
• If the model folder is around ~4GB, installation is complete
• The app will automatically open once the download is finished

Performance

Performance depends heavily on your hardware. Mid-range systems may experience slower responses.

No performance slowdown during loading or reasoning (currently experimental).

Third-party software components included with DirectAI remain subject to their respective licenses (e.g. Apache 2.0, EUPL). Nothing in this notice is intended to limit or override rights granted under applicable third-party licenses.

Official DirectAI builds are provided for end-user use only, except where otherwise permitted by applicable license terms or written authorization from DirectAI.
